Indirect determination of total yttrium and lanthanides by flame atomic absorption measurement of magnesium after extraction of their ternary complexes with purpurin (1,2,4-trihydroxyanthraquinone) and magnesium into isobutyl methyl ketone

چکیده

The elements La, Y, Pr, Nd, Sm and Ce form with MgII and operating conditions for magnesium: wavelength, 285.2 nm; slit purpurin (1,2,4-trihydroxyanthraquinone) mixed-metal width, 0.7 nm; and lamp current, 9 mA.The air-to-acetylene complexes which can be extracted into isobutyl methyl ketone ratio and the burner position were adjusted for maximun at pH 7.5. The total content of these metals can be determined sensitivity. by measuring the magnesium absorbance by AAS. The All pH measurements were made with a Crison (Alella, proposed method, which permits the determination of Barcelona, Spain) micropH 2000 pH meter, equipped with a concentrations at ppb levels, was applied to the analysis of combined calomel–glass electrode assembly. synthetic samples with good results.
